How to make Felt finger puppets
Things You'll Need:
Read more: How to Make Felt Finger Puppets | eHow.com http://www.ehow.com/how_2218892_felt-finger-puppets.html#ixzz1FdJCRFqj
- Pieces of felt
- Strands of yarn
- Needle and thread
- Tacky glue
- Scissors
Instructions:
- Making felt finger puppets is fun. First, you need to cut out two pieces of felt that are the same shape into a semi-oval shape. Make sure the semi-oval shape will fit over a child's finger.
2. Next, you will need to sew the two pieces of felt together around the curve of the semi-circle. Keep the stitches close together. Do not sew the bottom of the felt pieces, as this is where the child will insert his finger into the puppet.
3. Once you have the puppet sewn together, turn it inside out. This way you will not see the seams of the thread.
4.Add details to your puppet by using felt to cut out eyes, a nose, a mouth, buttons and other details. Use strands of yarn for hair. Add these parts using tacky glue or a hot-glue gun, as regular glue will not work well to hold the pieces together.

valentine's funkiness
I made this out of answering my creative juice's call to make
1 for the Valentines..hehe
I don't have any date but it doesn't mean I'm overly affected over that.
I enjoyed my Valentines with my family and officemates.
I may be thinking of other stuff like, "what if i have a date?"
but I'm fine without it. Thanks for the chocolates and greetings that
I got from my pips. It's worthwhile..hehehe

Awesome Kids Ministry
There are no seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child. There are seven million. ~Walt Streightiff
Awesome Kids ministry was formed out of love and care for the children’s spiritual growth and knowledge for the Lord. During a hilarious interview with Sis Rita Yokingko (Awesome Kids ministry head) together with her husband, Bro. Tom Yokingko, it started in Valle Verde, August 15, 2007. She said that it was Bro. Bo’s dream to have an Awesome kids in all Feast in Metro Manila. This won’t be possible without the help and determination of the following people: Robee Tan (Pre-school teacher), Bimbs Moreno, Aizer Cajegas, John Ben Rodriguez (later on became a Feast builder of Up Campus) and Maynard Francisco. All of them have one thing in common: THEY WERE ALL KIDS AT HEART. Few of them remained on the ministry and the rest went to other ministries wherein they had a greater calling.
At present, there is an average weekly, 130 attendees. As per Sis. Rita’s observation, it’s uneasy to handle kids oftentimes. They also faced 2 major challenges such as:
1. How to impart Bro. Bo’s teaching to kid’s level.
2. How to encourage difficult children to join the fun activities.
Bro. Tom said that the initial step to motivate this child is to making them feel the sense of belongingness and they would truly enjoy the activities. They also gave the kids a firm admonition; of course they don’t scold the kids. And if any of is ineffective, they would go directly to the parents.
"Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it." Goethe
The ministry’s heads have a lot of attainable dreams for the children. First, the children would have a good relationship with the Lord at an early age and to plant the seeds of goodness to the kids’ hearts. Next, the kids would know their Catholic Faith. Lastly, to continuously grow in love with the Lord (joining Youth, Singles until Couples ministry in the future.)
There are parents who said that they feel incomplete when they don’t let their kids attend the wonderful activities. Each of the kids has their own ID and even their parents have it too.
For the continuous affirmation and belief that the kids would grow up gracefully, the ministry provided them intermittent learning experiences, with dynamic and tiring activities such as prayer, singing, action songs, dancing, drawing, any activities depending on the kids’ learning style). They’re also planning to have an AVP (Audio Visual Presentation); Film showing for the kids are most likely visual learners; they also have short lesson which includes puppet shows and games. AND A WHOLE LOT MORE RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES.
So, if you’re kid is from 4-12 years old, it’s a highly recommendation for them to join the ministry and they won’t regret it. BUT INSTEAD THEY WOULD GET A GRATEFUL AND HAPPY HEART FILLED WITH LIGHTNESS AND GENUINESS.
